About
I'm Sara Beth Warnken, an aspiring public relations professional with a passion for crafting compelling narratives. I am pursuing an A.B. in public relations at the University of Georgia, complemented by a certificate in music business and a minor in general business.

I believe in the power of music to transcend boundaries and connect people on a profound level. As a music business and public relations student, I am driven by the belief that effective communication, strategic marketing and thoughtful storytelling are essential in amplifying artists' voices and fostering meaningful connections with audiences.

I'm currently interning for AthFest Music & Arts Festival, booking, scheduling and contracting 150 artists for the annual summer event. Prior to this position, I interned for IVPR, a music and culture public relations firm in Nashville, securing tour press, media outreach and developing media lists.
I also assist Reporting I Journalism students in the Journalism & Mass Communication College at UGA as a beat mentor. I am an active member in UGA’s PRSSA member relations committee, continuing my commitment to professional development. Additionally, I've written and reported for the culture desk at The Red & Black, covering the Athens music and culture scene.

My research endeavor on digital music sampling showcases my dedication to exploring multifaceted topics, drawing meaningful insights and advocating for social causes in the music industry.
